This project was created to transform a standard product photo into a fully developed e-commerce presentation image that aligns with modern online retail standards.
The goal was to create a clean, intuitive, and visually engaging layout that effectively communicates product features while maintaining brand consistency.
The base image was a plain product shot with no contextual or informative design. My role as a designer and retoucher was to elevate this raw material into a professional, customer-oriented visual presentation.Â
The transformation involved a hybrid workflow using both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to achieve a polished and branded final result.
In Photoshop, I started by cleaning up the original photo. I performed advanced retouching techniques such as shadow refinement, tonal balance adjustments, and subtle color corrections to ensure the product looks crisp and appealing without altering its real-life appearance.
The next stage involved transitioning to Illustrator, where the graphic I designed a clean background made from two overlapping shapes to add depth and flow to the layout.
Then, I created custom vector icons that highlight the key features of the crib, sturdiness, braking system, padding, and anti-fold protection.
These were paired with short, clear text callouts and positioned on the right side in a vertical hierarchy, ensuring readability and flow across the design.
Additionally, I used dotted lines and callout circles to direct the viewer’s attention to specific areas of the product, such as the reinforced plywood panel and wheels with brakes.
This technique enhances interactivity and comprehension, simulating the experience of a guided product tour.
This project demonstrates the integration of retouching precision with informational graphic design, resulting in a product visual that is both informative and visually convincing.
The final result is a highly polished, cleanly structured product visual that elevates the original image into a modern, trustworthy asset, optimized for online retail, digital ads, and parent-oriented communication channels.
